Bibendum is a wine company with a difference. We are a private company, mainly owned by, and 100% run by, the management team which is driven by one clear priority: our customers.

Our passion for excellence in wine, quality of service and a very personal approach to our customers has not changed in over 27 years of business and we are now regarded as the leading independent wine supplier in the UK.

With a staff of over 200 we have dedicated resources for every likely customer requirement. Over the past few years this has been recognised with a multitude of awards, the latest being the ‘IWC Corporate Responsibility Award 2010’.

Green Credentials

Bibendum is committed to using the most energy-saving, environmentally friendly and sustainable methods in the sourcing, packaging and distribution of our wine as well as the running of our office.

Bibendum seek to be very clear about what they do and have instituted our own environmental plan, called Vivid. The Vivid Project Team consists of specialists and enthusiasts from every aspect of Bibendum's business. They have put various policies in place to improve our green credentials including a strategy to put 20% of our bottled wine into lightweight bottles (350g from 480g) - a total reduction of 4% in the volume of glass used.

Our environmental approach has been rewarded with awards for Green Company of the Year 2010 from The Drinks Business Green Awards and the IWC Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2010.

Our aim is to source the best possible fruit, which is offered to TUCO members at commercially viable prices and then ensure that sufficient proceeds from the sale of these wines goes back to the families whose lives depend on these products. We invest in education, housing, water programmes and computer skills.
