H.N.Nuttall Ltd are proud to be celebrating our 70th year as a Wholesale Distributor to the Catering Industry as a Limited Company. The company now deliver national, and it offers a minimum Two day delivery service to all areas throughout the U.K.
H.N.Nuttall established as a small family grocer shop based in Central Manchester in 1851 delivering groceries to small businesses and homes by horse and cart and bicycle.

To its present day, the business is still run by the same family and is now in its fourth generation. Nowadays we do enjoy a fleet of fuel driven transportation instead of the hay variety.

H.N.Nuttall is a family run independent single depot operation who employs in the region of 100 staff. We are suppliers of a vast range of Ambient, Chilled, Frozen and Non-Food products to all sectors of the Catering Industry which includes fine Quality Hotels, Restaurants, Education and N.H.S sectors.

We are one of the remaining companies who still enjoy an Experienced Field Sales Team who visit customers as much as weekly either to collect orders, promote new product launches or on a prospective basis, whatever the requirement we are always there to make sure all our customer’s needs are met.

We as a company are passionate about providing a First Class service to our customers. We believe the needs and requirements of our customers are top priority which is why we carry such an extensive range of product ensuring we have everything the caterer requires. If we don’t have on the shelf what our customers require our experienced team of buyers will source the market to obtain it.

We are continually looking at different ways to improve our environment and reduce our carbon footprint. We currently recycle all our own cardboard and paper,;we are working with a company to recycle all our waste oil for conversion to Bio-Diesel for use in our vehicles; we are also in the process of conserving the rain water from our drainage system for use in the cleaning of our vehicles and finally we are looking at a system for recycling our waste food products.
