We are Nivek Catering Supplies Limited, a new TUCO nominated distributor. Based near Maidstone, Kent, we are a regional distributor of catering disposables, chemicals, paper and hygiene products. Our range includes all non-food products including crockery, cutlery and glassware. Established in 1990 we are now in our twenty-first year of supplying businesses from Universities to nightclubs, private schools to contract caterers and an array of foodservice, educational and licensed venues.

We have recently received the very good news that we are now a nominated TUCO supplier for catering disposables and chemicals as of the 1st May 2011. We have been fortunate to look after various universities for many years including University of Kent, Christ Church University and Queen Mary University of London, (all of whom I would like to think would give us a glowing reference) and through supplying such a prestige array of customers we have gained extensive knowledge of their requirements and supplies a vast range of products that we feel other distributors are not able to offer.

Nivek's success is built on commitment to customers through competitive pricing and a level of service second to none. We have recently been awarded for the fourth time in six years the foodservice packaging association Distributor of the Year award (as featured in the Caterer and Hotel Keeper magazine). The award is based on results from a customer survey incorporating regional and national distributors from all over the UK. Part of our success is built on how we work with our customers. We are not just 'box movers', we strive to understand your business and are constantly looking at ways to save you time, money and of course stress.

We work towards keeping both our own and our customers environmental impact to an absolute minimum and for this reason our existing TUCO customers were very keen indeed for us to tender for the contract. The pressures that are put on Universities to source local companies and local produce are ongoing. However, no one ever seems to question how far your disposables and chemicals have travelled. This is why we do not and will not sell cheap imported products. We constantly look to UK and environmentally aware European manufacturers for all our products.

Price is an ongoing factor in any sector, in any business. As the TUCO tender results highlight we are the cheapest regional distributor on both disposables and chemicals. We are able to compete at this level as we are founder members of an independent £85million buying consortium, this allows us to compete with the national companies in terms of price, but continue to provide our high level of local award winning service.

With our current TUCO customers we are happy to work on floor level, with the Chefs, Chef Managers and Unit Managers, and also report to Catering Managers, Hospitality Managers etc. We commit a lot of time to our customers, as we want to understand your operation in order that we can advise and assist to the best of our ability, wherever and whenever possible.
