SnackTime is a 21st century business being founded in 2001, and in the short period since its inception, SnackTime is now the 4th largest refreshment vending company in the UK today operating over 20,000 vending machines nationwide and taking care of thousands of satisfied customers in the Private and Public sector.
The company was founded by Blair Jenkins who has a 25 year background in consumer goods, manufacturing and marketing, having started his career for Proctor and Gamble. SnackTime's first customers were in the Thames Valley but within a couple of years the business was able to offer a fully operated vending service across the whole of the UK. In 2007 SnackTime floated on the London stock exchange and SnackTime's shares are now actively traded on the AIM market under the ticker code SNAK.
In order to respond to growing customer demands to offer hot beverage solution as well as drinks and snacks, SnackTime recently acquired Vendia UK Ltd.
Vendia was created by combining 4 of the most respected regional vending operating companies in the UK, notably VMI in the North & Wales, Integer in the Midlands & Northern Home Counties and Simply Drinks in London and the South East and finally, Drinkmaster established in the West Country in 1962, and manufactures and distributes single portion sealed hot drink solutions such as Premier cup.
The collective talents of these companies mean that SnackTime/Vendia is able to offer a one stop shop for all your vending needs whether that is large enterprise or small business. The acquisition has further enhanced SnackTime/Vendia’s ability to offer true nationwide support, with servicing depots across the country in major towns and cities.
Operational Services Overview
The Operations Team are all trained and certified to AVA Hygiene Standards for cleaning and replenishment of vending machines and all operators hold basic food hygiene certificates. Each customer route is carefully planned for the most effective delivery of service and each machine is visited and maintained to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and stock management.
The Technical Support Teams are all fully trained and certified by each of the vending manufacturers and are continually updated on new products and services. From the time a call is logged directly with the customer care desk, it is the technical support team’s objective to have the equipment up and running in less than 4 hours whilst causing the least disruption to the customer’s work environment. We constantly monitor and track our performance and as such are currently achieving a 2 hours 42 minutes response time having one of the best service records in the industry.
Our Dedicated Teams of Account Managers are fully trained by the manufacturers and attend our own in-house training programme. They are responsible for their designated territory managing their customer’s vending requirements by conducting regular quality review meetings auditing all aspects of our service delivery
